Beat the Heat: Chia Fresca

You guys know I adore chia seeds and that I like to put them in or on just about everything! I’ve seen a lot of Instagram pictures featuring this super refreshing drink (Chia Fresca) and decided to give it a go!

 

Chia seeds are chalk full of Omega-3s, protein, calcium, and fiber, making Chia Fresca the perfect substitute for an energy drink. Check out the recipe below!

  • 1-2 Tbsp. Organic Black Chia Seeds
  • 2 Cups of Water
  • Juice of 1/2 a Lemon or Lime
  • Your choice of Sweetener (Agave, Stevia, etc.)

Try using Coconut Water, instead of plain water, for an extra boost of vitamins, minerals, and other goodies!
